What to Expect
It is often uncomfortable to visit a new church for the first time or come back after a while away so we want to be as helpful as we can to make your experience a good one.
People of all ages and backgrounds may be dressed in many different ways. From very casual to “Sunday best,” our people are different. We promise you will fit in. You will feel the warmth and love of the accepting people here.
Our worship celebration appeals to a wide variety of individuals. Our Worship Celebration uses a blend of hymns and praise songs. It includes both a choir and a worship team using guitars, drums and keyboard. Some people are expressive; others are contemplative. God wants to use your personality to connect with you.
A couple of things to note when you come as our guest
- Guest parking is marked. The first two rows are reserved for you.
- Stop at Grand Central- you will be warmly greeted and informed about Sabino Road Baptist Church. Whether you come for the 9:30 AM Bible study or the 10:45 AM service, a host or hostess will direct you. Don’t forget to pick up your welcome gift!
- You will be asked to drop a card in the offering plate. Our Connection Cards are part of our weekly bulletin, just fill it out, tear it off and drop it in the plate as it passes by. We ask for no other gift.
- We offer excellent nursery care for your infant.
- Your older children will have a special Kidz Time early in theWorship Service before the pastor's message begins. They will then have the opportunity to leave and attend Kidz Praise where they will enjoy singing and worshipping together with songs and activities at their level..
- We offer Bible Study for all ages at 9:30 AM.
